Title of the Project: Design and synthesis of fluorinated metal organic framework materials (F-MOFs) for reversible gasstorage and sequestration applications

Qualifications/experience
MSc. in Chemistry or Physics with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Experience
Those with qualification in CSIR NET (LS) or GATE (minimum 90 percentile) will be given preference.
Experience in computational chemistry, physical chemistry, molecular modeling
Age limit 28 years

Job requirement
Computational work on metal organic frameworks (MOFS) for understanding intermolecular interactions
behind hydrogen storage

Project Assistant II: 12,000/-(Consolidated fixed emoluments per month)

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this Notice of appointment is large, it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the advertisement. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee to be called for interview would be notified on the divisional Notice Board on 11-03-2010 or the candidates may ascertain the information by contacting the following telephone No.: (Name : Mr. Dipak Jori, Telephone No. 25902002) .
