Applications are invited for walk-in-interview on 22.5.2010 at 10.00 a.m. for one post of Junior Research Fellow purely on temporary basis at IARI, New Delhi for project entitled “Development of export protocol for fresh fruits and vegetables from India” from eligible candidates having B.Sc. in Post Harvest Technology / Horticulture / Food Technology /Botany Knowledge of computer operation is desirable.
Emoluments:
For JRF- Rs.7560/- (Consolidated) per month.
Other Terns and Conditions:
Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-service man will be given as per the GOI’s instructions on the subject. Crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates for each post will be the date of walk-ininterview.
The period of engagement of JRF will be initially for a period of 1 year only which may be extendable on satisfactory performance upto XIth Plan period i.e. upto 31/03/2012. There is no provision of reengagement
after termination of Project/Plan. The selected candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise or against any regular posts or any further continued engagement on termination of the XI Plan in the Institute. The engagement is purely time bound, non regular and on co-terminus basis with the XI Plan Project/Scheme. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated on expiry of the period given in the sanction and after 31/03/2012. Government strives to have a workforce which reflect gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply.
Venue and Time of Interview: The eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview in the office of Head of Division of Post Harvest Technology on 22.5.2010 at 10.00a.m. onwards along with originals and
attested copies of certificates, age proof and NOC from present employer, if applicable. Candidates reporting after 10.30 a.m. shall not be interviewed.
Note: 1. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
