Invites applications from Indian Citizens for the following temporary positions in the MoES (Ministry of Earth Science) sponsored project entitled, “Study on white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) prevalence and diversity of disease resistant population among wild giant black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) of the entire costal area of India” under Dr. Nripendranath Mandal, Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable for three (03) years. Details of qualification, fellowship/pay, age etc. are as follows:

Junior Research Fellow (two)
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences / Environment Science / Chemistry / Physics with NET/GATE qualification. Candidates having interest to work in the area of molecular biology and networking
model are preferable.
Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit.
Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Laboratory Attendant (one)
Essential Qualification : Class VIII passed. Candidate having working experience in research
laboratory as helping hand is preferable
Consolidated Remuneration : Rs. 5,000/- p.m..
