Applications are invited from suitable candidates for three positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT funded research project on "A novel site specifically targeting nanoparticle based oral – drug and siRNA releasing polymer systems for colon Cancer” in the laboratories of Dr. G S Vinod Kumar, Dr. K Harikrishnan and Dr. S Asha Nair.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Position 1. JRF (Dr. G S Vinod Kumar)
First class in M.Sc. Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Biochemistry.
Position 2. JRF (Dr. K Harikrishnan):
First class in M.Sc. Life Sciences.
Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques desirable.
Position 3. JRF (Dr. S Asha Nair):
First class in M.Sc. Biotechnology.
Experience in animal cell culture desirable.
AGE : Below 35 years
EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA per month (Pre-revised)
Duration : Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only applicants fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for Selection procedures.
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications on plain paper with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned. The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the position number along with Scientist name, the advertisement number and job title. Separate applications should be sent for each position. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview. Selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.
