Applications are invited for one position of Research Assistant in the CSIR Funded research project entitled “Genetic characterization of biofilm forming pathogenic isolates of Acinetobacter spp.” at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology (IBB), University of Pune.


Stipend : Rs.8,000/- per month (consolidated) for period of 3 years(2010-2013).
Qualification : M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Molecular biology / Biochemistry/ Life Science with first class or equivalent GPA of the credit-based system at M.Sc.
Candidates with good lab skills in molecular techniques, and bioinformatics knowledge, are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant research experience would be preferred.
