Applications are invited for temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (1 Post) under the DBT Project “Feasibility of Biohydrogen and Biomethane Production from Sago Industry Effluent using Mixed Microbial Consortia in 2-stage Fixed-bed Anaerobic Reactors” (SP-192), being operated in the Microbial Sciences Division, (Period up to 21.07.2013), being filled through Walk-in-interview , as detailed below:
Qualifications Essential: (i) 1st Class M.Sc./M.tech in Microbiology/Biotechnology with B.Sc Microbiology/ B.Tech Biotechnology + Clearance of CSIR-UGC / NET for JRF.
Desirable: Experience in anaerobic fermentation technology, microbial kinetics and modeling
Age Limit : JRF/Research Student – 28 Years (Relaxable as per rules)
Monthly Stipend : Rs.12,000/- (fixed) + HRA.
In case of non availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree with 55% marks (as above) may be considered for Research Studentship on stipend @ Rs.11000/- (fixed) p.m.
