Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position on contract basis under the DST funded research project:
Project Assistant – Grade II (PA)
Project “Molecular characterization of the BEL-1 like homologs in potato and their role in long distance
signaling of tuberization” funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
Minimum prescribed educational Qualification
First class M.Sc/B.Tech or equivalent qualifications. CSIR/NET/GATE qualified candidates will be
preferred. Preference Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Plant MolecularBiology.
Fellowship Rs. 12000/- + 20% HRA per month.
No of Post: One
Tenure of the post Maximum period of engagement will not exceed three years. Initially, appointment will be for a period of two years extended by further period of one year.
The service of the PA will be co-terminus with the project.
