Bose Institute Kolkata JRF/Research Associate Position Walkins for Molecular Biology/Immunology

Walk-in-Interview will be held  in Room No: 422, Division of Molecular Medicine, Centenary Building, Bose Institute, P-1/12 CIT scheme VII-M, Kolkata-700054 for the following positions in the DBT sponsored project entitled “Immunomodulatory role of Arabinosylated Lipoarabinomannan against Visceral Leishmaniasis” under the guidance of Prof. Subrata Majumdar, Principal Investigator of the project, Division of Molecular Medicine, Bose Institute. The project is tenable upto 26th September 2013. Details of the qualifications, experience, associateship / fellowship and age are as follows:

Research Associate III: (One Post)
Essential Qualification: PhD degree in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/ Microbiology.
Experience : Molecular biology along with expertise in immunology/infectious disease with relevant publication in these fields.
Associateship: Rs 24,000/- p.m., plus admissible allowances.
Age: Below 35 years. Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rule.

Junior Research Fellow: (One Post)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc in any branch of Life Sciences except Botany along with good academic record. Candidate must have NET/GATE qualification.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in working with animal models and glycolipids.
Fellowship: Rs 16,000/- p.m., plus admissible allowances.
Age: Below 28 years. Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rule.

Eligible and interested candidates should appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute, P-1/12 CIT scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata-700054 along with bio-data giving details of qualification with attested copies of the Certificates, Mark-sheets and Testimonials. Candidates should also bring the original mark sheets, certificates etc. at the time of the interview.
