Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

Project Associate(One post only)

Project: Pathogeneis of idiopathic nephrotic syndrome of childhood: Th1/Th2 polarization of naive T cells in patients with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome and its relation to disease course

Job description: The person is expected to handle cellular and molecular immunological techniques such as cell culture, Elisa, flow-cytometry, Western blots, PCRs, cell transfections, eukaryotic gene cloning and expression.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Project Associate : Ph. D. Only those candidates who have at least submitted their thesis for PhD at the time of application or already obtained the degree should apply. The previous experience in the fields of immunology, molecular biology, cellular biochemistry is preferred. Others who have experience in the broad field of biology may also apply.

EMOLUMENTS: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules. There are three different slabs for Project Associates. The consolidated emoluments will vary depending upon experience. A fresh PhD is expected to get Rs. 22,000 plus 30% HRA.
