Job Profile : Performance evaluation of sewage treatment plants &
Industrial waste water treatment plants in the Ganga river basin;
Comparative analysis of waste water treatment technologies; Analysis of
waste management options in the Ganga river basin.

P(09-2) Designing Pyrazole Derived Pd Precatalysts for C-C
Cross-coupling Reactions
RA/JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : First Class M.Sc in Inorganic and
Organic Chemistry with GATE above 95 percentile/CSIR-JRF/2 years of
Industrial Experience (preference would be given to candidates with
prior research experience)
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.14000/- p.m.
Job Profile : Organometallic Synthesis and homogeneous catalysis

Earth Sciences
P(09-3) Electrical & Electromagnetic Studies in the Eastern Ghats
Mobile Belt Region
JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : First class in Master's degree in
Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/ Mathematics/Physics. Knowledge in
computer programming with FORTRAN/MATLAB is essential.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m. + HRA
Job Profile : The candidate is expected to participate in extensive
field work to carry out Magnetotelluric (MT) and multi-electrode
resistivity imaging surveys. Laboratory data processing, analysis &
interpretation and report writing also form part of the job.

RE: (3 Post) Eligibility : B.E./B.Tech in Computer science/Information
Technology/ Electrical Engineering.

Job Profile : Development of web service for power system computing.
Preferred background is exposure to Java,C++,Hibernet, JBoss, Oracle
DBMS. Electrical Engineer should have excellence in power systems.
Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science
P(09-5) Microwave Losses in Ferrite Thin Films for Meta-materials
JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : A first class B.E./B.Tech in Elec. Eng.,
Metallurgical Eng., Materials Science with GATE or first class M.Sc
Physics/Materials Science with NET qualification. Candidates must have
interest in high frequency magnetic materials, microwave communications
and microlithography.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA
Job Profile : Research projects in Metallurgical Engineering and
Materials Science, IIT Bombay. The project is for a period of 3 years
with the appointment being for one year at a time.
