Summer and Winter Training in BiotechnologyIBAS is conducting training in biological sciences two times in a year to give exposure to the participants to concepts, skills and tools of biological science. Each session (summer and winter) includes six week
scheduled programme. It will comprise of both theoretical lecture courses and hands-on laboratory experience through projects. This programme is aimed at motivating the students to pursue a career in
research. This programme is carried out under the title of 'Special and Advanced Training in Bio-sciences and Biotechnology'. Training comprised of following area

• Agricultural Biotechnology • Applied Microbiology
• Forensic Biotechnology • Applied Biochemistry
• Bioprocess Technology • Plant Biotechnology
Registration
To confirm your registration with us, you have to pay of Rs 2000 along with an application in prescribed format. In which candidates have to mention their Name, Address, Subject Area and Name of the Institute.
Also send one passport size photograph and brief bio-data to the below mentioned address.

EligibilityTraining is specially conducted for Faculty members and students entering their final year of regular or integrated M.Sc.(Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry and related streams of Biological Sciences). (Students completing M.Sc. in 2011 need not apply.) There will be a separate batch constitute for research Scholars and Faculty from colleges, universities and research organizations.
Note: No. of seats – 20 in each discipline.
