Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for one temporary position of Research Associate / Extended Senior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored project entitled “Selectable marker free, insect resistant plant development and investigation of molecular interaction between expressed lectin and receptor proteins isolated from target insects” under Prof. Sampa Das, Division of Plant Biology.

Extended SRF position
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. degree in Biological Science for RA position / candidates those who
have submitted their Ph.D. thesis in Biological Science are eligible for
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in the field of Plant Molecular Biology, proteomics
and Bioinformatics.
Associateship / Fellowship : Rs 22,000/- p.m. for RA / Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Extended SRF,
plus admissible H.R.A.
Age: Below 35 years (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rule).
