ADMISSION FOR PHD CANDIDATES – 2012

Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Sciences, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for our PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala. General category applicants must have First Class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/ DBT or Eligibility for DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on June 1 of 2012.

SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.

Last date for receipt of applications: April 16, 2012

Date of Intimation by email: April 18, 2012

Interview, Short-listing, Student-Faculty interaction and selection: May 7 to May 11, 2012

Date of Joining: June 1, 2012

Internal candidates working in Projects (Important Dates):

Last date for receipt of applications with recommendations by the selection committee: May 1, 2012

Selection Decision : May 15, 2012

Date of Joining: June 1, 2012
