M.Tech./ME or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engg./Materials Science & Engg./Mechanical Engg./ Production Engg./Manufacturing Engg. Those expecting to complete the requirement for the prescribed degree within a short period may also apply. Candidates having B.Tech. or B.E.(Hons.) in the above disciplines with two years of industrial or research experience may also apply. Qualification of GATE/NET is preferred.
