What is this all about?
Short Term Training Course on ‘Molecular Markers and their Applications in Plant Sciences’ The Department of Botany, University of Pune will be organizing a DBT-sponsored training course for mid-career scientists involved in undergraduate teaching in Life-Sciences and Biotechnology from 2nd February
to 22rd February 2010.
The course would consist of one lecture by Guest faculty drawn from reputed research institutes in the country and will be followed by a practicals/hands-on session per day.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates below 45 years of age, holding regular positions in Colleges or Research Institutes may
apply for this course. The applicants would have to be sponsored by their own Institutions.
Applications may be sent to the course director stating:
1. Name and address for communication including e-mail id, mobile, phone number.
2. Educational qualifications and research/teaching experience.
3. Present place and nature of work.
4. Present and future research interests (one paragraph).
5. Whether the candidate has undertaken such DBT-sponsored training courses.
