What is this all about?
Engagement of Project Staff under Sponsored Project at Hyderabad Zonal Laboratory, IICT Campus, NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE.Applications are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant Level – II & III on
behalf of the sponsor as per details:

 Project Title: “Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment for Proposed PHWR Fuel and Zincaloy
fabrication facilities (PFFF & ZFF) at Rawatbhata, Kota, Rajasthan – Proj No : NEW

Educational Qualifications:
Level-II : M.Sc (Env.Sci./Chemistry/Microbiology/Maths) or B.Tech (EEE, Civil, Chemical)
Level-III : M.Sc (Env.Sci/Chemistry/Microbiology/Maths)or B.Tech (Chemical/Civil) with two
years experience or M.Tech (Chem. Engg./Env. Engg.)

Job Requirement: Characterization of Water/Soil samples, Microbiology samples analysis Environmental monitoring, Data processing and report preparation.

Fixed remuneration: Level-II :Rs.8,000/- per month; Level-III : Rs.10,000/-per month

No. of Positions : Level-II : 3 nos.; Level –III : 1 No.

Upper age Limit : Level-II : 28 years ; Level-III: 32 years
Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and for OBC candidates (3 years) will be applicable
as per GOI instructions

The engagement is purely on temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the
duration of the sponsored project, satisfactory performance/ conduct of the appointee. The tenure of project
assistant at the time of appointment shall be for a period of one year and co-terminus with the project,which ever is earlier.The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would,therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization /absorption.
