The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of “Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow” under the research scheme titled “HIGH PERFORMANCE POLYMERIC FLOCCULANTS FOR WASTE WATER & INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENT TREATMENT BASED ON MODIFIED POLYSACCHARIDES” (Emeritus Scientist CSIR) to be carried out at IISER Pune upto 7th July 2011.

Post (No of Post): Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow(1)
1) Qualification Required for Research Associate (R.A.). :
i. The minimum qualification is Ph.D. in Polymer Science / Chemistry / Technology or equivalent degree..
ii. Having minimum 3 years of research and development experience after M.Tech. in Polymer Science / Chemistry / Technology / Engineering.
Emoluments for R.A.: Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Only) per month + HRA @ 20% as per
CSIR norms.
Tenure of the Post: Upto 7th July 2011.
Age for R.A.: 35 (Shall not exceed as on the closing date of advertisement)
2) Qualification required for Senior Research Fellow (S.R.F.)
i. M.Sc. [Organic Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Polymer Science] or B. Tech. in Polymer Science / Engineering / Technology with minimum 60% marks.
ii. Having at least 2 years of post M.Sc. or B.Tech. research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard referred journals
iii. M.E. / M. Tech in Polymer Science / Engineering / Technology
Emoluments for S.R.F.: Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees Fourteen Thousand Only) per month + HRA @ 20% as
per CSIR norms
Tenure of the Post: Upto 7th July 2011
Age for S.R.F.: 32 (Shall not exceed as on the closing date of advertisement)
