Applications are invited in the prescribed form from eligible candidates for admission to various post graduate courses of Kerala Agricultural University for the Academic Year 2010-2011 in the following Faculties:

I. Faculty of Agriculture
a. Ph.D. in Agronomy, Agricultural Entomology, Agricultural Extension, Horticulture, Home Science, (FS&N), Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Economics and Plant Physiology/Plant Biotechnology, Ph.D in Forestry: Silviculture & Agroforestry, Tree Physiology & Breeding, Wildlife Sciences, Forest management & Utilization and Wood Science
b. i. M.Sc.(Ag.) in Agronomy, Agricultural Entomology, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Meteorology, Plant Physiology, Plant Biotechnology, Microbiology
ii. M.Sc. (Horticulture)

II. Faculty of Fisheries
Ph.D in Aquaculture and Fish Processing Technology
M.F.Sc. in Aquaculture, Fishery Biology, Fish Processing Technology, Fishery Hydrography.

III. Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology
M.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) in Farm Power & Machinery, Soil and Water Engineering and Post Harvest Engineering Technology

Exam Details
A common entrance test will be conducted for all the disciplines under a faculty and admission will be made to all the disciplines in a faculty on the basis of the rank obtained in the entrance examination. However separate test will be conducted for M.Sc.(Ag.Stat)/M.Sc. Home Science/ M.Sc.(C&B) and M.Sc.(Forestry) of Agriculture Faculty. Separate examination will not be conducted for Stream A and Stream B of Veterinary Faculty. The option once exercised will be final and subsequent changes in the option will not be entertained. The discipline will be allotted to the applicant according to his/her choice and seniority in the rank list. The filled in application should reach the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, KAU-Post, Thrissur-680 656 before 3.00 P.M. on 25.06.2010. Incomplete, defective and late applications will not be accepted.
