Applications are invited for one Project Associate position for the DST sponsored project, titled "Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations stuies of Silicon-Germanium Thin Films" tenable at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned. The project will involve writing computer simulation codes to predict the
behaviour of Silicon-Germanium thin films. Familiarity with some programming language (C/C++/Fortran/Matlab etc.) is essential. The project starts on March 1, 2011.
Emoluments: Rs. 13,000 p.m. (consolidated)
The position is temporary for 1 year initially, but can be extended further depending on satisfactory performance.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry/Physics.
