Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST funded research project entitled "Characterizing the signaling network that sustains oral cancer stem cells for developing a targeted therapy" at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
Essential Qualification: First class in any branch of Life Science with a valid UGC/CSIR Certification.
Additional Qualification: Experience in mammalian cell culture, FACS, Immunoflourescence and immunohistochemistry is desirable.
Age: Below 30 years
Salary: Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
Duration: 2 ½ years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and in the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed for selection procedure, a written test will be held. Candidates qualifying in the written test
will then be assessed at a selection interview.
