Applications are invited for one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (@Rs 14,000 p.m.) and one Technical
Assistant (@Rs 6000 p.m. fixed) to work in the DAE-BRNS sponsored research.
- Project entitled ‘Evaluation of cyclic deformation behaviour of structural materials for advanced nuclear reactor applications’.
- Qualification: For SRF: M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science and Technology/Mechanical Engineering with 55% marks OR B.E./B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 55% marks and 2 years research experience OR M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry with 55% marks. Age limit 32 years.
- For Technical Assistant: Intermediate (10 + 2) Science with 50% marks, and 2 years laboratory experience/Graduate in Science with 50% marks. Age limit 30 years.
- Applications on plain paper giving bio-data along with qualifications, research experience, etc. supported by attested documents should reach within 21 days of the advertisement to Professor Vakil Singh, Principal Investigator, Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi 221 005.
- Note: A relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/physically handicapped/ female candidates. No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.
