Physical Chemistry JRF vacancy at IIT Madras

Applications are invited for one temporary post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for the CSIR project on “INVESTIGATION OF THERMAL DECOMPOSITION … SHOCK WAVES” in the Dept. of CHEMISTRY.

DURATION: 10.01.2011(extendable)

QUALIFICATION: M.Sc degree in Chemistry (preferably Physical Chemistry) with First Class and GATE / CSIR qualification.

DESIRABLE: Candidates with adequate knowledge of basic concepts in Physical Chemistry.


Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
