Physics JRF Vacancies in ISRO Sponsored Project at SRM University

Research Fellows
Department of Physics invites passionate students to work as Junior Research Fellows (2 Nos) in the
following two sponsored projects of ISRO, Govt of India. (i) Study of characteristics of Aerosols over
Chennai under Aerosol Radiative Forcing over India (ARFI). (ii) Rainfall estimation over India and
surrounding oceans from satellites.


Eligibility : 1st class M.Sc. Physics or 1st class M.Sc. Meteorology/Atmospheric Science/Oceanography with Physics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. or 1st class M.Tech. Space Technology or 1st class in M.Tech. Meteorology.
Desirable : Knowledge of computer programming.
Tenure of the projects : 3 years
Fellowship : As per ISRO norms (Rs 12,000 p.m. + admissiable HRA).
Selected candidates could register for full-time Ph.D. degree and for which necessary research facilities will be provided.
