Short Term Training Course on Molecular Techniques in Plant Biology

The Department of Plant Science will be organizing a DBT-sponsored training course for mid-career
scientist involved in undergraduate teaching in Life Sciences (Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology)
from 18 September to 1 October 2010. The course would consist of Lectures followed by practical’s/
hands on session.
Faculty, holding regular positions in colleges or universities may apply for this course. Application may
be sent to the Course Director stating
1. Name and address for communication including e-mail i.d., mobile number
2. Educational qualifications and research/teaching experience
3. Present place and nature of work
4. Research interest
5. Whether the candidate has undertaken such DBT-sponsored training courses
Short-listed candidates will be informed in the first week of September 2010. Number of participants is limited to 12. Details of the course can be accessed from the University website: . Few participants will be provided TA/DA as per the University rule, based on their merit.
