Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions on contract basis under the funded research project:
Post Doctoral Research Associate (RA)
Project:“Molecular and genetic characterization of Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2.” funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
Minimum prescribed Educational Qualification: Ph.D. (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or allied
Sciences). Minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade at Masters Level. Preference will be given to candidates with good academic / industry records and capable of managing a project independently.
Job Requirements: Work with a team of graduate students and project assistants to characterize Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2.
Fellowship: Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 24,000/- per month based on academic record and work experience of the candidate + HRA as admissible
No of Posts: Two
Tenure of the post Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period of two years subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the study project. Age: 35 (Shall not exceed as on the closing date of advertisement)
