Opening for a Research Positions in Neurobiology of Sleep

Applications are invited for two temporary posts of JRF/SRF in a CSIR  sponsored project titled "Neurochemical basis of rapid eye movement sleep regulation in rats". The appointment will be for one year and may be extended, depending on satisfactory progress of the candidate, for the duration of the project which may be up to three years. CSIR and JNU rules will be followed for the appointments.
Qualifications :
For JRF - M.Sc. with JRF or NET/GATE.
For SRF - M.Sc. plus GATE/NET at least; with a minimum of two years of active research experience in neurobiology related work; publications will be preferred.
M.Sc. in physical sciences and experience in computational neurobiology will be preferred for one of the candidates.
Salary/Fellowship : As per CSIR rules.
Note :Selection in the project does not in any way qualify candidates to register in JNU for Ph.D. Candidates will be short listed based on their qualification in the application and need of the project work.
