The research projects involve:
1. Developement and application of state-of-the-art molecular dynamics simulation techniques to understand the physics of the interactions governing the structure, function, and dynamics of bio-molecules (proteins and nucleic acids) at different length and time scales and its coupling with the surrounding solvent environment.

Biophysical and Biochemical Studies of the Mitochondrial Outer Membrane Proteins VDAC-2 and Om14.
Qualification and Experience: First class M.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Science or Organic Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to those who have cleared NET CSIR/UGC)/NET(LS)/ICMR. Only applicants with at least 4 months experience in handling bacterial cultures and/or protein expression and purification, need apply. An aptitude for learning new techniques is a must.
