National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), established in 1966 with assistance from United Nations DevelopmentProgramme (UNDP), has been accorded lead institution status by National Programme Implementation Unit (NPIU) under Ministry ofHuman Resources Development Govt. of India. The Institute offers academic programmes at Post Doctoral, Doctoral, Master,Bachelor and Advanced diploma levels... Reservation for various categories {SC/ST / OBC/ PWD (Persons with Disabilities)} exists
as per Govt. rules.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various programmes as detailed below:
Post Doctoral and Doctoral Programmes: ( PDF, Ph. D).The Institute’s main emphasis is on Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Foundry, Forge and allied Materials Processing Technology, Environmental Science & Engineering, Computational Materials Engineering Pure and Applied Sciences. The selected candidates will also be required to assist in teaching and upkeep of the laboratories.
