Things one can do in study perspective during Bachelors and Masters are many. The opportunities one should surely touch are
1. Summer training As you might be aware from the previous posts, our country is full of research institute in Science and technology. Many institutes are doing active research; some institutes are providing training in different fields of science. These institutes provide opportunities for students to carry out a small project or do some meaningful research over a period of 2- 3 months under a scientist (guide).
Areas of these summer internships are focused on all the branches of science and technology in which active research is taking place. Some of the main subjects are
1. Engineering Sciences,
2. Life sciences,
3. Mathematical sciences,
4. Material sciences and
5. Space sciences.
Students may ask what the advantage for doing summer training is, there are many in fact:
1. Students will get to learn a lot during these internships, like new techniques, new equipment, new methods of experimentation and research approach.
2. Students get to meet different kinds of students from different institutes and regions, meet great scientists. They also get chance to attend exciting seminars and workshops.
3. Access to innumerable literature like research papers, international n national publications, online journal access, institutes PhD works etc.
4. There are chances of getting paper publications (in journals) for your research work carried out in the institutes.
5. Recommendation letter from your guide(if your guide is willing to) for further research, higher
education etc.
