About
India is a land of the youth with more than 600 millions of her citizens under thirty-five years of age. As our Hon’ble Prime Minister observed, the best science is done by young people. Our institutions must be receptive to the needs of young people. Seniority and age may be relevant in bureaucratic systems, but scientific institutions must be led by intellectual leaders, irrespective of age. They must promote younger talent and allow youth to lead. Therefore, following the successful conduct the first congress in 2009, the second INDIAN YOUTH SCIENCE CONGRESS (IYSC2010) is being organized by M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation and SRM University to provide a national level forum for the young students and research scholars.
