Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow to engage on ‘Development of RNAi platform for plant gene functional validation’ in a DBT funded research project on "Prospecting Zingiber Zerumbet for molecular resources” in the laboratory of Dr. S Manjula.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks. Experience in plant molecular biology will be an added advantage.
AGE : Below 35 years
EMOLUMENTS
 Rs. 12,000/- + 15% HRA in the I and II year; Rs. 14,000 + 15% HRA for III year (Consolidated per month)
Duration : Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).

Suitably qualified candidates may send applications on plain paper with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials and experience to reach the Director. The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.

In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview. Selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.
