International Conference on Systems in Medicine and Biology | ICSMB 2010

 Organized By

ELECTRICAL ENGG, SCHOOL OF MEDICAL SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY and IEEE KHARAGPUR SECTION.

Integration of disciplines to explore biological systems

A biological system could be defined as a ensemble group of interconnected components elements that function together to comprise of an unified whole. The domain of such a system may not be clearly defined, especially if multi-faceted complex organisms are being investigated. However using systems approach the dynamic but multi-scale relationship amongst subsets of modules could be related to understand stability or the emergence of a new state of existence in biology.
