Project title: Design and evaluation of novel immunogens and monoclonal antibodies against pandemic H1N1.

• The candidate should have basic knowledge in immunology. Hands on experience in murine / human monoclonal antibody production and their characterization, cell culture and mammalian cell expression will be given preferance.

What is this all about?
Applications are invited for a post of JRF in the DBT funded project entitled -

• “Development of Multi-analyte Immunosensor for Pesticide Detection”. The work principally involves fabrication of Immunoglobulins based biosensor using chemical/electrochemical/SPR methods, via, use of nano composites of conducting polymers, self assembled monolayers, thin films etc. The fabricated electrodes would be optimized, characterised & utilized for its response characteristics using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) etc for detection of pesticides for application towards environmental monitoring.
• The position is temporary and available until 13th January 2013 (or till the end of the project).
