Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test(NET) to award Junior Research Fellowships and for appointment of Lecturers(Lecturership) (to Indian National’s) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science which is scheduled to be held on Sunday, the 20th December 2009 .
The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.
Who can apply?......
Master’s Degree examination in the relevant or related subject
For JRF (NET): Min. 19 Years and max. 28 years as on 01.07.2009 (upper age limit may be relaxed upto 5 years for reserved categories, verify brochure ).
For LS (NET): Min. 19 years, as on 01.07.2009. No upper age limit.

How to Apply?....
Apply through the applications obtained by hand or by post(CSIR) or online(CSIR Website).
The cost of the application is rs 400/- for general ,rs 200/- for OBC and rs 100/- for sc/st candidates… applications are also available at Oriental bank of commerce or Indian bank in selected cities from 25.08.2009
