Walk-in-Interview will be held on 17th December 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Microbiology Seminar Room at the Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata- 700 054 in respect of the following two sponsored projects under the guidance of Dr.Nripendranath Mandal, Division of Molecular Medicine:
1. CSIR sponsored project entitled “Isolation and identification of natural antioxidant and anticancer products in Spondias pinnata”. The project is tenable for three years.
Who Can Apply?
M. Sc. degree in Biotechnology with good academic records and two years research experience.
Age: Below 30 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Position: Senior Research Fellow - 01 (one)
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit.
2. Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) sponsored project entitled “Study of Shrimp Genome : Disease resistant DNA markers of Penaeus monodon”. The project is tenable upto 10th August 2011
Who Can Apply?
A good M. Sc. degree in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with NET/GATE qualification. Molecular biology preferable.
Age: Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per
rule).
Position: Junior Research Fellow - 01 (one)
Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/-p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit
